Federação dos Trablhadores na Agricultura no Rio Grande do Sul (FETAG-RS) was
registered on 26 October 1965 by eight farmers' unions of Rio Grande do Sul.
Representing now 400,000 smallholders, 200,000 workers and 348 affiliated
unions, FETAG is Rio Grande do Sul's federation of the Confederação dos
Trabalhadores na Agricultura (CONTAG), a nation-wide union recognized by Decree
No. 53,517 issued on 31 January 1963.

The flag of FETAG-RS is vertically divided green-white-red with the union
emblem in the center.

The flag is also used horizontally divided red-white-green with the emblem placed in the horizontal stripe, the writing "FETAG-RS" left of the graphic element instead of beneath it:
